My husband and I both loved his TAG Heuer watch that we ordered directly from Amazon. The watch is stunning, but unfortunately it stopped working within a month of receiving it. I called the manufacture to make sure there wasn’t something more we could do to make it work before sending it back, and there wasn’t. Having said all of this, I plan to repurchase the watch once refunded. TAG has a great reputation, and I hope this was just a fluke. We loved the watch that much, but hate having to go thru sending it back etc… Now if the second watch stops working, then I will purchase another brand all together and probably from another site.
I got this watch because a new wrist band for my old watch almost cost the same as this watch. It’s been better than expected, the features are all you really need for a watch with nothing extra to get confused about. After 2 months it has lost 1 second, i check it to my local time on the internet. Only complaints i can think of is the extra slack in the wrist band was hard to remove, but the wrist band should last the same amound of time as the batterie, its tough. Also the alarm last’s about 5-10 seconds and doesnt repeat so sometimes i sleep threw it.
I was looking for a metal-cased digital watch that was not too big for my wrist. TAG Heuer WAV511B.BA0900 Very few watches fit that description at any cost. This watch meets those requirements at a very low cost. Several other Timex and Casio watches meet this requirement, but have one fatal flaw. The set button on the Timex requires only one small tap to put it in the set mode, making it very easy to accidentally change the time. Other Casio Watches (older models I think) require two taps to go in the set mode. This Casio model requires the set button to be held for about two seconds to go in the set mode. I would have gladly paid ten times the cost of this watch to find one with the same functionality but a sturdier and more stylish case. This digital watch is the best I have found at any price. This last statement is half praise and half complaint.
Advantages:
Large clear display, functional buttons, fits standard watch bands, low cost.
Disadvantages:
It has a very thin case – I can’t tell whether it is plastic or very thin metal, although the back is stainless steel. The watch is significantly larger than the illustration indicates – It is about 40mm tall and 33mm wide, not including the buttons. The included watch band is of a type that could fall off with a lot of activity.

Akdy 36″ Cavaliere SV218D36WM European Style Az668is2 Stainless Steel Island Mount Range Vent Hood
I bought this range hood when we remodeled our kitchen and it looks great. The touchscreen display is a nice feature. I really haven’t really put the hood through heavy use yet, but it seems to work well. I can’t really comment on the installation as I had it done by the contractor. The only minor cons are the light is a little too dim and the clock is on military time. Haven’t figured out how to change it or if you can change it. Overal a great buy.

DEWALT DW880 2-1/2-Inch 19,000 RPM Straight Grinder
—————————————
DEWALT DW716 15 Amp 12-Inch Double-Bevel Compound Miter Saw
I was ready to upgrade from my Delta 10″ miter to a 12″, but was waiting for Dewalt to come out with a laser system. I bought this DW716 about 2 weeks ago and so far I love it. I opted NOT to get the sliding miter, since they are not as accurate as the non-sliding, especially for making furniture. This saw is very powerful and smooth, and the laser works well, though it took a while to get it set up (the instructions are marginal at best, leaving you to twiddle with it for an hour or more to try to get it to line up in every direction).
One thing I HIGHLY recommend is a RIDGID MS-UV miter stand. I found one at Home Depot and it is the best miter saw stand on the market, and very reasonably priced. It folds and unfolds easily, and the wheels make DEWALT DW880 mobility great. It is MUCH better than the Dewalt or the Delta miter saw stands. Why Dewalt doesn’t have a folding one with wheels is beyond me, and the Delta one is just too small for a 12″ miter. The combination of a stand and a 12″ miter needs wheels, as it is very heavy. You can leave the Dewalt 12″ miter mounted to the RIDGID, and even set it vertically in the corner out of the way when you don’t need it. Anyway, Amazon doesn’t sell the Ridgid MS-UV yet, but Home Depot does.

This was my first time buying an Invicta Watch and I can only say that it was just great to open up that yellow gift box and take out this beauty. It looks great, feels great and doesn’t miss a second. Thanks, it really is a nice watch.
I couldn’t be happier with my new Invicta. Looks great on my wrist, is accurate, and has taken the place of my $1,000 Breitling! Best $89 I’ve spent in a long, long time.
I’ve never seen this quality for this price in a watch before. Yeah it gains 10 seconds every day, but if I wanted accuracy for the price, I’d buy a quartz. It’s so much more fun to watch the whirring bits through the back. Solid, heavy, and cosmetically flawless. Many websites talk about these Invictas, so there’s not much else to say. The band alone is worth a great portion of the price. The slightly oversized and sharp stem is shredding my hand where it rubs, but hey, small price to pay.
I have the older style with the coin bezel, but all the ‘guts’ are the same. This is my first watch that isnt a $20 Casio special. I really love the look of it (and the looks I get!). My only gripe is that about once a week, I have to move the time back about 5 mins. I dont know if I move too much and am Citizen EW9870-56E overwinding the mechanism or just got a bad one, but thats my only gripe. Also, I did have the saftey clasp come loose a few times, but with a gentle squeeze I’ve managed to bend it back into proper shape.

This is my third framing nailer. My first was a DeWalt D51823 which had cost me $275 and lasted 9 months. It misfired and jammed so often that it was barely useable. I replaced it Milwaukee 7110-20 with a Hitachi NR90AA which, along with the optional trigger, cost me well over $400. I used it for a couple of years and it rarely ever jammed nor misfired. I purchased a Milwaukee 7110 framing nailer to replace the Hitachi after it broke. At nearly half the price of the Hitachi and quite a bit cheaper then the DeWalt, I was worried that I might be buying something I couldn’t rely on. Right out of the box, this nailer seemed like a VERY high quality tool. Very sturdy construction and with precise adjustments.
After 6 months of use, my worries are gone. This nailer is flawless. It has not jammed or misfired yet, which is extraordinary. It double fires on rare occasions, but only when switched to ‘contact actuation’. It’s very lightweight and rugged (easily brushed off a 15-foot story fall just recently). The ability to switch from sequential to contact actuation firing modes with a simple switch is ingenious (both my other nailers required disassembling the trigger assembly!). The depth adjustment works quite well (providing you don’t use the non-mar tip) and firing is very smooth and balanced.
